The project — which is generating buzz locally since first mention, the first single “One of These Kids”, featuring Prophetic of UMG is dropping 11/20/12 with a video to drop shortly after — brings two of Uni.Fi's hardest-working, yet dissimilar, emcees together for a head-nodding seven-track ride that is as much about musicality and instrumentation as it is about lyricism and style.

(Milwaukee, WI — Nov. 2012) “Trust me, I’m way out of my lane with this project,” rapper SPEAK Easy said in a recent interview about the EP he and Uni.Fi Records labelmate, Dana Coppafeel, scheduled for release early 2013. “It’s pretty cool, I’m loving it.”

The unusual partnership has been a boundary-pusher for both rappers; and the especially-collaborative process, that engaged national and local artists, musicians and producers, has added a new dimension to their sound as well.

The EP, entitled “Uni.Fi Records Presents...Dana Coppafeel and SPEAK Easy,” will be available early 2013, and for now look forward to the first, and second single which will drop in December.

“In reality it’s not just Uni.Fi project anymore, and I think that symbolizes what Uni.Fi embodies,” SPEAK said.
